I mostly use Ambient Weather to look back at old data logs, and it’s been solid for that. The charts usually load without any trouble, and overall it works the way I need it to. I do wish some of the history pages were easier to find though... sometimes it takes a bit of clicking around

I felt kind of trapped trying to figure out what to buy, but this ended up being the one thing I’m really glad I went with. It works great, feels reliable, and I don’t regret spending the money at all. Worth every penny.

I was impressed with the range of weather gear Ambient Weather offers. They have everything from simple beginner stations to more serious setups, which made it exciting but also a little overwhelming at first. I really appreciated that they carry extra sensors and replacement parts too, not just the main units. It took me a bit to compare everything and figure out what made the most sense, and I do wish some of the product differences were explained more clearly. Still, I felt good about shopping there overall and would definitely consider them again...

I’ve had my station sitting outside for a few months now, through rain, hot days, all of that, it still works just fine. The only thing is, the plastic does feel a little cheap, but overall it’s been holding up well...

I needed a replacement sensor and ended up finding it on ambientweather.com, which was a relief because a couple other places I checked didn’t have it. I can’t remember if I found it after a few days of looking or if it just felt that long, but either way, I was glad they had it available.

The only reason I’d go with 4 stars is that some other items were sold out, and I couldn’t really tell when they were coming back. Maybe I missed the restock info somewhere, but the timing wasn’t super clear. Ordering was simple though, and I did get what I needed.

I’ve been using the solar panel to keep my station charged it does a good job most days. If it’s cloudy for a few days in a row it definitely slows down a bit, but thats kinda expected. Overall I’m happy with how it’s been working.

I mostly use Ambient Weather for the alerts, and for what I need, it’s been good. I set up wind, rain, and temperature alerts without having to click around forever, which is nice because I usually assume weather apps are going to be more confusing than they should be.

I like that you can choose your own limits instead of just being stuck with whatever settings they think are right. I got a text when my greenhouse dropped too cold, and I’m sure that saved a few plants, or at least it feels like it did because they didn’t look worse the next day.

There’s not a whole lot more to say. It took a little messing with at the start, but once I got it figured out, it’s been solid. It’s not fancy, but it does the thing I bought it for, so that’s good enough for me

That’s how this stuff should be, if a company sells a “smart” device, it really ought to be simple enough for regular people to get running without wasting half a day.
